In the second week of July 2018, WhatsApp rolled out a feature that introduced a label 'Forwarded' to all the forwarded messages. In other words, messages that aren't hand typed by the senders. That label appears at the top of the message. This was WhatsApp's effort to combat loads of spam & fake news on its platform.

Hence, if you have the latest version of WhatsApp, whenever you forward a message to any contact or group, the receiver(s) will know that the message was sent to you by someone else or you are sending it from a WhatsApp group you're part of.

Here the question is if there's a way to act as if you're the original poster of any message. Of course, there's a simple trick to do that.

  1. Select the message you want to share.
  2. Instead of tapping the forward button, select the share button.

Now the message you shared won't have 'Forwarded' label on top of the message, though you've technically forwarded it.

You may also like, insert newline on WhatsApp when enter key sends message.

Limitations

  1. You can't use this trick for text messages, for texts what you can do is after selecting the message copy and paste.
  2. You can't select more than one message to use this trick. If you do, you'll only get the forward button.
